I bought this for my senior mom's apartment. Very easy to use, plug it in and you're ready to go! She enjoys the 'realistic' flames without the mess of cleaning up after real ones! Puts out a good amount of heat too - helps keep the heating bill down!!
This little heater, does a good job. Quite, looks good, nice flame effect, small enough to move from room to room. Will heat a limited area, nicely. Heats my large bedroom, keeps from having to heat the entire house at night. Saves money. I would buy again, if needed.
I purchased a small Electralog stove from Walmart last month for $98 plus tax and it was worth every penny. It is small enough to move from room to room yet it heats up a couple of rooms in about 20 minutes. The temperature in my house was 68 degrees when I turned the stove on and in 20 minutes it was 78 degrees, so it definitely cuts down on the heating bills. Wish I had ordered it sooner.
We bought this stove 2 weeks ago. It's been on ever since and we love it. Now that it runs our propane furnace hardley ever comes on. We live in Montana where it's been in the low teens many days and we are warm. We are heating about 500 square feet of open space with it. Great heater. Were going to purchase the next size larger for the other side of our home. Oh and did I mention how quiet it is. I actually thought the fan wasn't on at first. If you buy this you won't be sorry.
I put this in our Sun room for winter heat & ambiance! The room is small & this works great & looks like a WOOD STOVE.... without the smell & mess !!! Love it!!!
We use this in our family room which sometimes gets a chill. This product heat it right up along with the adjoining office. Our thermostat was set at 68 today but when I last checked it was 75 degrees in our family room, needless to say we set the heater to low to cool down. Was def worth the $$ and so reasonably priced. Planning to get this for my father-in-law who spends alot of time in his finished basement.
I have had this heater for about 2weeks now. And have used it every day. It puts out enough heat on low to keep things comfortable. And the flame looks real enough to fool you at first. I have country decor and it fits in great. It"s really cute to look at and was surprised to see it didnot run my electric bill up. You really can"t ask for more, I would buy another.
I love my compact 'Fireplace'. We live fulltime in a motorhome where space is limited. Many new RV's are equipped with fireplaces but our motorhome is a 12-year old classic that was built before these accessories were standard.. Although we are in the sunny south right now we have had the warm glow of the fire image (without the hear) 'burning' most nights over the Christmas holidays. On the few nights when the temps dropped, the two-speed heater provided more than enough comfortable warmth - no need to use the furnace. Since we never leave any heater on when we are not home the fact that it is not thermostat controlled is no big deal. Witout a doubt my Electralog Stove is one of the most cherrished 'extras' that we have bought in a long time. I would most heartily recommend this Fireplace to anyone wishing to add a touch of class to a confined or small space. It's compact size will fit almost anywhere - if space allows you could easily add a coordinated mantle. Someday ours will move with us to a stationary home.
We had bought a similar stove for $199.99 from another online service-it only worked a week and we had to send it back. Later we saw this stove locally and was impressed by the price, but they sold out before we made up our mind to give it a try. Our living room and kitchen are open to each other and it's hard to heat BUT this little booger does the trick. AND it is still working!!! AND the logs are more realistic in it than the other one we had tried. Great price, great product!!
Living in a small apartment but always wanting a fireplace , when I saw this online it immediately caught my eye. This seemed like the right option for me because it was small enough for my living space but big enough to meet my needs. My house is really chilly in the winter months and being a person with arthritis , I needed something to keep the early morning chill away . After getting this , I plugged it in and turned it on to the low setting . Right away I became mesmorized by the reality of the "flickering flame". It looked so nice and warmed the room to a comfortable temp. It also has a higher setting but I never really have to use it because the low setting works fine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the comfort and ambience of a fireplace without all the work an cost of the real thing .
